Italian gas companies SIAD and SOL launch €50m smart ASU in Croatia


Italy-based industrial gas companies SIAD and SOL Group have opened a new air separation unit (ASU) to produce liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon near Zagreb, Croatia.

The facility was built using a 50m investment made through the Oxy Technical Gases joint venture – a partnership between SIAD subsidiary Istrabenz Plini and SOL subsidiary SOL Croatia.

The gases produced at the site will be supplied to hospitals, industrial factories and other consumers across Croatia and neighbouring countries.
